Are you a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator? Join our busy warehouse in Fort Worth, Texas! We are looking for experienced operators to manage the movement of materials within our facility. This role is critical for the efficient operation of our logistics and distribution processes. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload inventory, ensuring accuracy and safety at all times. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of forklift operation, warehouse safety protocols, and material handling best practices. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently.
- Stack and retrieve inventory accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Inspect forklift equipment before and after each shift, reporting any issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and location verification.
- Follow all company safety regulations and protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all logistics and warehouse procedures.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned when not operating a forklift.
- Must be able to perform occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret labels, instructions, and shipping documents.
- Good physical condition, including the ability to climb on and off equipment and perform occasional lifting.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
