Join our dynamic logistics team in Seattle, Washington, as a Picker/Packer! This role is fundamental to ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for carefully selecting items from warehouse inventory and then meticulously packing them for shipment. This fast-paced position requires physical agility and a strong focus on quality. Understanding the nuances of handling various products and their secure packaging within a logistics framework is essential. Safety is paramount in all our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order specifications using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect items for damage and verify quantities and product codes.
- Package selected items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Prepare packed orders for shipping by applying labels and necessary documentation.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace, contributing to overall warehouse safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strict emphasis on safety protocols and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks to ensure accuracy.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily fulfillment targets and support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse operations is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 45 lbs regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy in both picking and packing.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to handle products carefully.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Familiarity with general logistics processes.
