We are seeking dedicated and motivated Picker/Packers to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations by accurately selecting, preparing, and packing orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order sheets or scanner.
- Inspect picked items for damage or discrepancies.
- Package items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Label packages with shipping information accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, following all safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Understand and follow all warehouse safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ensure all tasks are completed within designated timeframes to meet operational goals.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order status and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety, recognizing the importance of Lifting responsibilities and careful handling of goods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists and shipping labels.
- Basic math skills for inventory and counting purposes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and using required PPE.
