This role is essential to our logistics network, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. Your main responsibilities will include locating and selecting items from warehouse inventory and then carefully packing them for shipment. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace safety , and all associates must follow established procedures and wear the necessary PPE at all times. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using order sheets or scanners.
- Verify item accuracy and quality before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and pack items securely.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain an orderly and clean work area.
- Follow all company safety regulations and wear provided PPE .
- Perform regular lifting and maneuvering of products (up to 40 lbs).
- Contribute to maintaining inventory accuracy.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or fulfillment setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with logistics processes is a plus.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform frequent lifting .
- Excellent attention to detail and speed.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment.
