We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators for our state-of-the-art facility in San Jose, California. This critical role ensures the efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse, directly impacting our logistics operations. You will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to transport, load, unload, and store a variety of goods. Maintaining a strong focus on safety is paramount; adherence to all operating procedures and the use of required PPE is mandatory. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting (often with forklift assistance, but manual lifting up to 50 lbs may be required). Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and proficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and stage products efficiently.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and system updates.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and wear all required PPE .
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including manual lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Knowledge of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety .
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
