Our dynamic logistics team is looking for someone like you to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of materials within our facility. You will be responsible for handling, storing, and transporting goods using various equipment. This role is vital to our operational success, requiring a strong commitment to safety and accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other conveyances.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other items throughout the warehouse.
- Organize and store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Inspect equipment for proper operation and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory control activities and maintain accurate records.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Follow all procedures related to Lifting and the movement of heavy items.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or similar role.
- Valid forklift certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices in logistics.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
