We are seeking a motivated Material Handler to join our busy warehouse operations in the heart of New York City, New York. In this role, you will be essential in managing the flow of goods, from receiving and stocking to picking and packing orders. We need individuals who are dependable, physically capable of handling various materials, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision.
- Prepare items for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Perform physical Lifting duties as required, following safe Lifting techniques.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory checks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication abilities and a cooperative attitude.
- Willingness to work diligently in a fast-paced setting.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety and logistics principles.
