About
Join our fast-paced logistics center in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a Material Handler! This is a crucial role in our operation, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for operating various types of material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move, sort, and stage inventory. Your primary goal will be to support our shipping and receiving departments by ensuring materials are where they need to be, when they need to be there. The ideal candidate is attentive to detail, committed to safety, and capable of working in a dynamic environment. We value teamwork and encourage a collaborative approach to problem-solving. To ensure your safety, we provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ongoing safety training. Responsibilities include:
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers with incoming and outgoing freight.
- Transporting materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Assisting with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock placement.
- Verifying the accuracy of received goods and shipments.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Following all company safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
