We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring timely loading and unloading of trucks, moving inventory to and from storage areas, and assisting with order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating various types of forklifts, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Your daily tasks will involve inspecting equipment before use, adhering to all safety protocols, and maintaining accurate records of material movement. This position requires excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We value dedication to safety and provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure a secure working environment. Responsibilities include:
- Operating forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently.
- Performing routine checks on forklift equipment and reporting any issues.
- Adhering to all company safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Maintaining an organized and clean work area.
- Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve operational goals.
