About
We are seeking a meticulous Order Picker to join our growing logistics team in Durham, North Carolina. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our order fulfillment process. Your primary responsibility will be to locate and retrieve specific items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, using electronic picking devices or order sheets. Accuracy is paramount, as is the ability to work at a steady pace to meet daily targets. You will also be responsible for ensuring picked items are ready for the packing stage and contributing to the overall organization of the warehouse. A strong focus on Safety is essential; all team members must follow established procedures and wear appropriate PPE to prevent injuries. This position requires physical stamina, the ability to perform regular Lifting, and good navigational skills within the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse inventory.
- Use picking devices or order lists to locate products.
- Verify picked items for correctness and quantity.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Follow all company Safety protocols and guidelines.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets and item locations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform moderate Lifting (up to 35 lbs) throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to Safety and the correct use of PPE.
