About
We are hiring Picker/Packers for our distribution center in Dallas, Texas! In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders. This involves picking products from various locations within the warehouse and preparing them for shipment. Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy are paramount to ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is motivated, enjoys a physically active role, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment. A basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is helpful. You will be a vital part of our order fulfillment process.
Responsibilities:
- Locate and pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Use RF scanners or pick sheets to ensure order accuracy.
- Inspect picked items for any defects or damage.
- Pack orders safely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as directed.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and utilize provided PPE .
- Meet established performance metrics for picking and packing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or warehouse associate is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product identifiers.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Capacity to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced setting.
- Must be capable of regular lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics is beneficial.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols.
