Join our energetic warehouse team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as a Picker/Packer. We are seeking motivated individuals to accurately pick and pack orders for shipment. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring customer satisfaction through precise order fulfillment. You will be responsible for locating items on shelves using scanning technology, verifying order accuracy, and carefully packaging products for safe transit. Attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to safety are paramount. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to meet demanding production quotas in a dynamic warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify the correct items and quantities against customer orders.
- Package items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and general warehouse area.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Meet or exceed established productivity standards for picking and packing.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient team atmosphere within our logistics center.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking/packing or warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Must be comfortable using scanning equipment and warehouse technology.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks, up to 50 lbs, on a regular basis.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
