This role is essential for the smooth functioning of our distribution center, involving a variety of hands-on tasks related to the movement and storage of goods. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in receiving shipments, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Unload and receive incoming inventory, verifying quantities and checking for damage.
- Stock and organize products within the warehouse according to established procedures.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Stage orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and routing.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and work areas.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures diligently.
- Wear all mandated PPE consistently.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including significant Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Good manual dexterity and coordination.
- Basic understanding of inventory principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace Safety.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Punctual and dependable.
