About
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Warehouse Workers to join our logistics team in Tampa, Florida. In this versatile role, you will contribute to various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. Your duties will be essential to the smooth functioning of our distribution center and the timely delivery of goods. This position demands a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will be involved in handling a variety of products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring that our warehouse operates efficiently and safely. We place a high priority on workplace Safety, and all employees are expected to follow all Safety guidelines and wear the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of materials, so good physical condition is required. This is an excellent entry point into the logistics industry with opportunities for skill development and career progression.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Verify contents against shipping documents.
- Stock shelves and storage areas accurately.
- Pick and pack orders according to specifications.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as trained.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse.
- Adhere to all company Safety rules and procedures.
- Properly use all required PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform manual labor, including frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles is helpful.
