About
Our Phoenix, Arizona location is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our team. This role is essential for the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that materials are moved safely and accurately. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to load and unload goods, transport inventory, and assist with put-away and retrieval processes. The ideal candidate has a strong commitment to safety, excellent operational skills, and a desire to contribute to a productive logistics environment. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and understand the importance of precision in warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and organize materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
- Keep the work environment clean, organized, and free from potential hazards.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, contributing to overall logistics efficiency.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet operational goals.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement in all warehouse activities.
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience operating forklifts is mandatory. Valid forklift certification is required. Ability to perform significant lifting (up to 50 lbs). Thorough knowledge of warehouse safety best practices. Excellent hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude. Must be dependable and possess a strong work ethic. Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding logistics setting. Experience with RF scanning devices is a plus.
