We are looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to manage our outbound shipments in Phoenix, Arizona. This vital role ensures that all products are accurately documented, packaged, and dispatched to our clients, maintaining the integrity of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping labels, verifying shipment contents, and ensuring timely dispatch. - Prepare and process outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Verify shipping information against orders to ensure accuracy.
- Generate shipping labels and documentation for various carriers.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pick-ups and deliveries.
- Package items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Conduct regular audits of shipping processes and documentation.
- Communicate with internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
- Adhere to strict safety standards and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with receiving duties as needed, including lifting and organizing incoming goods.
Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar logistics role. Proficiency with shipping software and common carrier platforms. Strong understanding of shipping documentation and procedures. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs). Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment. Good communication skills. Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
