About
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as Picker/Packers at our St. Louis, Missouri facility. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders and then carefully packaging them for shipment. This is a vital position within our logistics process, directly impacting order accuracy and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be efficient, organized, and possess a strong attention to detail. Physical stamina is required, as the role involves significant walking, reaching, and lifting. A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment through adherence to all safety guidelines and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on order sheets or electronic scanners.
- Inspect items for damage before packaging.
- Package picked items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Follow all established safety procedures and protocols.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, supporting overall logistics flow.
- Be prepared for tasks involving frequent lifting of items up to 35 pounds.
- Ensure proper use of all mandated PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order lists and pick tickets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability for lifting items up to 35 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and operations.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and correct usage of PPE.
