We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Boston, Massachusetts. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be an integral part of our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our facility. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, unpacking, stocking, and preparing orders for shipment. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a well-organized and safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a warehouse setting, possess excellent physical stamina, and be comfortable with lifting up to 50 pounds. Adherence to all safety protocols and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and order lists.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory levels and order status.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficient logistics.
- Proper use of PPE, including safety shoes and gloves when necessary.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and engage in significant lifting throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and logistics principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
