About
We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to join our growing team in Omaha, Nebraska. This position is a vital component of our warehouse logistics, responsible for the movement and organization of goods throughout the facility. You will be involved in receiving, storing, and dispatching materials, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Operating various material handling equipment, maintaining inventory records, and collaborating with other team members are key aspects of this role. Safety is our utmost priority; therefore, adherence to all Safety regulations and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are non-negotiable. This role requires physical stamina, as it involves frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds and working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas using equipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory in an orderly fashion.
- Assist with order picking and packing processes.
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory verification.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual material handling equipment.
- Follow all established Safety protocols and procedures.
- Properly wear and utilize all required PPE.
- Communicate any stock issues or safety concerns to management.
