Key Responsibilities
Translate project objectives into practical, compliant electrical designs. Design, specify, and model electrical installations, including load calculations, fault level assessments, and protective device coordination. Ensure all designs and on-site work comply with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices. Develop technical specifications for electrical equipment. Present design concepts clearly through meetings, technical documentation, and detailed drawings. Act as a technical representative in client and contractor meetings, demonstrating expertise and professionalism. Conduct site surveys, inspections, and monitor on-site activities to maintain project integrity. Manage project delivery aspects with a focus on budget, cost control, and timely execution. Produce detailed reports and maintain accurate project records. Foster collaboration and effective communication across multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.Qualifications & Experience
HND/HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (essential). Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical design, ideally within utility or connection projects. Proficient in Microsoft Office and electrical modelling software such as Amtech, ETAP, or Power Factory. Familiarity with relevant technical standards. Strong report writing skills and basic AutoCAD proficiency. IET registration or willingness to obtain professional registration in the near future. Self-motivated, with the ability to manage workload independently.Why Join?
