Job Title: Content Producer

Job Summary:
As a Content Producer for Luke Pepper Creative, your primary role will be focused on editing video and photo content that supports our blue-collar customers. This is a hybrid position as on site filming is needed, fully hourly 1099 subcontractor position, with no guaranteed weekly hours. Candidates must live within 40 miles of Torrington, CT for occasional in-person project needs. This position is primarily editing-based, there are multiple opportunities to assist as a second videographer or photographer on job sites as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Video Editing: Edit raw footage into engaging, polished video content that matches brand and project expectations.
- Photo Editing: Retouch and prepare photos for client projects, maintaining consistent style and quality.
- Media Organization: Manage and organize footage, photos, and project files for efficient workflows.
Secondary Responsibilities (As Needed):
- Production Assistance: Serve as a second videographer or photographer on select job sites.
- On-Location Support: Assist the team with occasional on-site shoots, equipment setup, and capture as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and Photoshop.
- Familiarity with SONY camera systems preferred (for secondary production opportunities).
- Excellent attention to detail and a creative eye for editing.
- Ability to collaborate remotely with a creative team and follow direction.
- Professionalism and customer service mindset for blue-collar clientele.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet editing deadlines.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two years of experience in video and/or photo editing.
- Experience working in a production environment is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods.
- Occasionally assist on job sites; must be able to lift up to 25 pounds when needed.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions when assisting on shoots.
Contract Details:
- Job Type: 1099 Subcontractor
- Pay: From $22.00 per hour
- Hours: 10–25 hours per week depending on project flow (no guaranteed hours)
- Contract Length: 6-month contract, with potential to extend
- Location: Remote (must live within 40 miles of Torrington, CT)
