About the Role
We are expanding our leadership team and seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production and Compliance Manager to help strengthen oversight of post-harvest and processing operations. This position plays a key role in coordinating daily production activities, managing large-scale inventory, and ensuring compliance with all state and internal regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate is both hands-on and analytical, capable of managing complex workflows while maintaining complete accuracy in documentation and reporting. This is an opportunity to help shape and streamline operations in a growing, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities, including trimming, curing, packaging, and product movement.
- Manage large-scale inventory tracking systems, including METRC data entry, audits, reconciliations, and variance investigations.
- Develop, implement, and enforce SOPs for post-harvest, packaging, labeling, and waste management processes.
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations and internal policies related to cannabis handling and reporting.
- Supervise and mentor production staff, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Conduct quality control checks to confirm product integrity, weight accuracy, and label compliance.
- Collaborate with compliance, QA, and cultivation teams to maintain smooth and compliant production flow.
- Support process optimization projects to improve efficiency, consistency, and yield.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in cannabis post-harvest, processing, or manufacturing operations.
- Strong background in inventory management and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated experience managing METRC or similar seed-to-sale tracking systems.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate teams.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with cannabis regulations, product tracking, and quality assurance protocols.
