Evening Line Cook

Shift Needed: (2) NIGHT SHIFT Positions (4pm-10:30pm)

Employment type: Part-time / Full-time

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be friendly, honest, & SELF MOTIVATED
• Be good serving customers & the public, excellent customer service skills & positive attitude at ALL times
• Able to work under pressure & at a fast pace
• Must have reliable transportation & be on-time

LINE/PREP COOKS DUTIES:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout/work areas
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Check and Stock inventory FIFO

As a Night Line Cook, you will be essential in delivering high-quality food preparation and cooking in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Your core skills in culinary techniques, food handling, and meal preparation will ensure that each dish meets our restaurant's standards. Your experience in the food industry will be vital in executing menu items efficiently and making you a key contributor to our team's success during nighttime operations.

Pay: $ $16.00 per hour

Experience:

• Restaurant Cooking (not Fast Food): 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• ServSafe Certificate (Preferred)
