Maintenance Technician

Guide Property Services, a rapidly growing mid-size property management company and we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician who is eager to grow and succeed with us. This is a full time, permanent position.

Responsibilities:

• Complete work and repair orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform efficient and detailed turnovers.
• Estimate repair time and extent of repairs accurately.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance tasks.
• Maintain inventory of materials and supplies.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances.
• Oversee work performed by external contractors when needed.
• Maintain property grounds when necessary.
• Maintain accurate reporting using Appfolio
• Clear and consistent communication with tenants and Managers

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in apartment maintenance, including drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
• Must be able to use app-based reporting software on an iPad, Outlook email, etc.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Must have reliable transportation and your own set of basic tools.
