Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including long-term care facilities and hospice environments. This role requires a strong commitment to patient service, adherence to aseptic techniques, and the ability to lift and assist patients as needed. The Nursing Assistant will play a vital role in supporting patients' daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
• Utilize eClinicalWorks systems for accurate documentation of patient care.
• Assist in transporting patients within the facility as needed.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Support hospice care initiatives by providing compassionate end-of-life care.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic life support techniques is essential.
• Experience working with children or in pediatric care settings is a plus.
• Knowledge of long-term care practices and hospice care is beneficial.
• Ability to lift patients safely and assist them with mobility challenges.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient service.
