Direct Support Professional

Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals in need within nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or similar settings. This position requires a Valid Drivers License as well as an active Auto Insurance policy.

In this role, you will be required to have a Valid Drivers License and an Active Auto Insurance Policy

Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medications following established protocols
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities in their daily routines
- Support seniors with their specific care needs
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for all residents
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans

• Every other weekend is required

Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving, nursing homes, assisted living, or related field is preferred
- Proficiency in medication administration systems
- Knowledge of patient care practices and procedures
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications are a plus
