About

Our client, a medical practice with various offices in the Greater Philadelphia suburbs, is seeking a Practice Manager to join the team The Practice Manager will manage and enforce policies and procedures to enhance all components of the practice to ensure optimal performance and compliance. We are looking for an experienced candidate who has medical practice experience, is organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and efficient.

Responsibilities

  • Determine staff priorities through planning, coordinating and directing staff and clinicians to meet the practices administrative, operational, and support requirements.
  • Works with the practice leadership team, providers, and staff to manage the daily operations of each practice location including patient care and retention, staff/team management, and office workflow.
  • Implement and enforce policies and procedures that ensure efficient operations, handling administrative functions, and patient flow.
  • Seeks cost saving and revenue enhancing opportunities.
  • Monitors and maintains performance standards for patient appointments, procedures performed, and patient satisfaction.
  • Recruit, retain, evaluate, and train staff members, effectively communicating, giving timely feedback that empowers staff to do their jobs well.
  • Oversight and support of marketing, social media, outreach and referral recruitment.
  • Regular ongoing maintenance of office space, repairs, and coordination of vendors.

Qualifications

  • Ability to be onsite and travel between office locations
  • 7+ years of experience in medical office management
  • Strong people skills, ability and experience with optimizing employee functions
  • Experience leading a team, implementing performance plans, holding team members accountable, resolving conflict, and comfortable delivering feedback
  • Proficiency using software applications including EMR and practice management software, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, time management, and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with vendors to manage the needs of each practice
