We are seeking a dynamic Distribution Center Associate to join our operations in Fort Worth, Texas. This comprehensive role is key to our logistics network, involving a broad range of warehouse activities. You will be responsible for various tasks, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Your dedication to accuracy, efficiency, and safety will be essential in maintaining the smooth flow of products through our distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory efficiently.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners and order sheets.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace and contribute to overall warehouse orderliness.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counting procedures.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed to ensure seamless logistics.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work culture.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs, standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanning technology.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and wearing required PPE at all times.
