In this critical role, you will lead a team of warehouse associates, ensuring the smooth and timely execution of all receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities. Your leadership will directly impact our logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for team performance, training, scheduling, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance goals.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and regular stock takes.
- Implement and enforce all Safety policies and procedures, ensuring a secure work environment.
- Manage staff schedules, workload distribution, and breaks.
- Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment, arranging for repairs as needed.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate objectives and address concerns.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues and discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations related to logistics and material handling.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar leadership role (3+ years).
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Ability to plan and organize work effectively.
- Knowledge of Safety regulations and experience implementing them.
- Must be able to assess risks and implement corrective actions.
- Physical capability for tasks involving moderate Lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Must ensure team adheres to PPE requirements.
