Join our dynamic Distribution Center team in Portland, Oregon, as a Distribution Center Associate! We are looking for motivated individuals to contribute to our efficient logistics operations. As a DC Associate, you will engage in a variety of tasks including receiving inbound shipments, accurately picking and packing orders, staging products for shipment, and maintaining the overall organization and cleanliness of the facility. Your attention to detail and commitment to efficiency are key to ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will work within a modern logistics environment, utilizing advanced tools and systems to streamline workflows. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and all associates are required to strictly adhere to all Safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves regular physical activity, including significant Lifting of goods, so physical stamina is essential. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming inventory.
- Pick items accurately based on order fulfillment requirements.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Label packages correctly for transit.
- Stage outbound orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and work areas.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Meet and exceed productivity and quality targets.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Use required PPE consistently and correctly.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented and able to work collaboratively.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles is beneficial.
