Seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our bustling Fort Worth, Texas warehouse! - Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from various departments within the warehouse.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Ensure all materials are handled in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, free of hazards.
- Properly use and maintain all required PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Support logistics and production teams with material needs.
Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role. Valid forklift certification is highly preferred. Proven ability to operate material handling equipment. Must be able to perform heavy lifting, up to 60 lbs, regularly. Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics environment. Good communication skills. Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to hazard identification and resolution.
