We are hiring a dedicated Warehouse Associate for our facility in Boston, Massachusetts. This position is essential to our supply chain operations, ensuring efficient handling of goods from receipt to shipment. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. The role requires a strong understanding of warehouse logistics and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock received goods in designated warehouse locations accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (certification may be required).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, strictly following all safety protocols and PPE guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse equipment and reporting any issues.
- Contribute to overall logistics efficiency by optimizing workflows.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Associate or in a similar role.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed.
