Become a key player in our logistics operations as a Picker/Packer at our Detroit, Michigan facility! We are looking for detail-oriented and energetic individuals to accurately pick and pack customer orders. This role is fundamental to our fulfillment process, ensuring customer satisfaction through precise and timely order preparation. Your responsibilities will include navigating the warehouse to locate products, using hand-held scanners and pick sheets, and carefully packaging items for safe delivery. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment are essential. We maintain a strong focus on Safety, requiring all team members to adhere to strict guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. The role involves considerable Lifting, often of items up to 50 lbs, and requires you to be on your feet for the duration of your shift. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products according to order specifications.
- Pack merchandise securely for shipment, ensuring damage prevention.
- Utilize scanning technology and pick lists for efficient order fulfillment.
- Conduct quality control checks to verify order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all established Safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Properly wear and use required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Communicate any order issues or stock discrepancies to supervisors.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting as directed.
- Contribute to meeting daily production and shipping targets.
