Our new Plug and Play approach will be a collection of common parts that can be connected in different ways and work together (like electrical panels and dosing rigs). They can be mixed and matched to create a whole range of different products. We’re looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our Plug and Play team and help shape the future of water and wastewater infrastructure. EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW Responsibilities
Leading the electrical design process, including specifications, optioneering, and detailed design. Collaborating with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into robust electrical solutions. Supporting early-stage commissioning planning and ensuring designs meet regulatory and operational standards. Continuously improving standard designs based on feedback, risk assessments, and performance data. Ensuring seamless integration between product design and site implementation teams. Qualifications & Skills
What you’ll bring to the role: A degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline and/or a minimum of 5 years proven experience in electrical design. Familiarity with CAD, and digital electrical design tools such as E-Plan. Experience managing product life cycles and working with supply chains. Strong understanding of H&S, and risk management in engineering design. An innovative and collaborative mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders to drive practical, effective solutions. Flexibility to travel between sites throughout the UK on an Ad-hoc basis as projects demand. Inclusion & Culture
