About
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, patient care, and safety protocols.
*Duties*
* Conduct MRI scans as per physician orders, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation.
* Prepare and position patients appropriately for MRI procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety.
* Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and patient care plans.
* Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, imaging results, and any relevant notes on procedures performed.
* Educate patients about the MRI process and address any concerns they may have prior to the procedure.
*Experience*
* Proven experience as an MRI Technologist or in a similar role within medical imaging is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation processes.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and adhering to safety protocols.
