We are a full-service provider of commercial casework, millwork, cabinetry, and retail fixtures.

• Position Summary: The Project Estimator reviews proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work estimate required to complete projects.

Essential Job Functions:

• Identifies labor, material, and resource requirement project costs by reviewing proposals, architectural drawings, and specifications
• Develops and maintains good working relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors and co-workers to strengthen company position and increase repeat business
• Obtain quotes from Vendors for items not fabricated in our Shop but included in scope of work.
• Maintain files of working documents to support estimates, including supplier prices, price lists, etc.
• Provide better product offering options through Value Engineering
• Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude

Experience/Background:

• Minimum of 1 year estimating experience required.
• Familiar with standard commercial & cabinet/casework materials and construction
• Ability to read and understand architectural drawings, specifications, schedules and cost coding systems.
• Knowledge or experience with Takeoff Software, ERP software, and MS Office
• Familiar with Architectural Woodworking Institute (AWI) standards
• Demonstrate strong written & verbal communication skills
• Self-motivation and strong attention to detail
• Thinks critically with complex problem solving and evaluation skills

Job location: In person - St Cloud, MN - Mon-Thurs. 6AM-4:30PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50, $70,000.00 per year
