Job Description
Minimum Requirements Education/Licensure/Skill/Expertise/Certifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other
related field. Or equivalent work experience.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.
3-5 years' experience developing in JavaScript based application frameworks
like , or Electron
Advanced experience with client side technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, MVVM/MVC frameworks such as React, Angular, , and others
Microsoft Azure technology experience, preferred.
TypeScript experience, preferred.
Experience with Git Version Control Systems.
Position General Summary:
Designs, develops, and maintains custom applications and 3rd party product integrations. Provides Tier 3 support for custom applications. Gathers and analyzes requirements. Programs all or selected components of custom applications. Documents components and applications. Has experience with a variety of more difficult tools and languages, preferably Provide weekly status reports to their supervisor in the Curriculum Development department.
Essential Position Functions:
Intermediate professional level role. Works on moderately complex, to complex projects. Works on multiple projects as a team member and sometimes as a project leader. May coach more junior technical staff.
• Develops and manages effective working relationships with other departments, groups, and personnel with whom work must be coordinated or interfaced.
• Develops, tests, documents, and implements high quality applications on time that perform according to specifications and requirements documents.
• Analyzes performance of programs and takes action to correct deficiencies.
• Develops and adheres to development standards that allow for the maintainability of code in a manner that supports team development.
• Participates in the modification of software applications or architecture to resolve issues and plan for future growth.
• Participates in code reviews and meetings, as necessary.
• Provide a minimum of weekly status report updates for current projects
• Meets professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrate respect for others.
