Location: Phoenix, AZ
Salary per Year: $90,000 – $120,000 USD Dollar+ (Company will pay above the range for top talent)
Employment: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Education: Bachelor's in Landscape Architecture (LAAB-accredited)
About the Role
We are seeking a Licensed Landscape Architect to support and lead design teams across all project phases—site analysis, conceptual and schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. This role will collaborate closely with landscape architects, architects, engineers, designers, and other supporting staff.
Duties
* Assist designers, landscape architects, and senior staff with research
* Support senior staff with site analysis, conceptual design, and construction documentation
* Produce graphic presentations and physical study models
* Conduct construction observations and document findings
Key Responsibilities
* Support or lead efforts to win new business, including SOQs and proposals
* Function as Lead Principal-in-Charge for designated practice area and geographic market
* Serve as a knowledgeable and service-driven leader
* Ensure all work follows QMS and quality control standards
* Prepare and follow Project Framework Instructions and staff work plans
* Monitor project reports, progress metrics, budget, and client satisfaction
* Support Project Managers with issue resolution strategies and performance reviews
* Contribute to project profitability, financial performance, and client satisfaction
* Oversee staff deliverables ensuring compliance with client, legal, and company requirements

Qualifications
* BLA or BSLA degree from an accredited Landscape Architecture program
* Licensed Landscape Architect; project management experience preferred
* Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment and collaborate with diverse project teams
* Strong communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Proficient in AutoCAD
* Entry-level skills or interest in LandFX, Photoshop, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and other illustration tools

Physical Requirements
* Prolonged computer and desk work
* Lift/carry up to 50 lbs
* Walk on uneven terrain; hike steep slopes with survey equipment
* Perform field tasks such as digging, pounding stakes, carrying tools
* Work in extreme weather conditions
* Drive survey vehicle when required
