We're currently seeking a proactive and experienced Job Site Safety Coordinator to help lead our teams with a focus on hazard prevention and OSHA compliance.

Job Description:

The Job Site Safety Coordinator is responsible for enforcing safety protocols, conducting site inspections, and providing safety training and guidance to field crews. This individual will serve as the on-site safety presence, ensuring that all employees, subcontractors, and visitors adhere to federal, state, and company safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily job site safety inspections and hazard assessments
  • Lead safety briefings, tailgate meetings, and toolbox talks
  • Complete and maintain daily Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and other required safety documentation
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards
  • Investigate incidents, near-misses, and injuries and develop corrective action plans
  • Maintain SDS, safety documentation, and job hazard analysis (JHA) records
  • Monitor use of PPE and enforce safety protocols across all operations
  • Assist with onboarding and safety training for new hires and subcontractors
  • Coordinate with project managers and supervisors to support safe work planning
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide first-line incident management

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in construction, utility, or industrial safety coordination
  • OSHA 30 (required); additional safety certifications (e.g., First Aid/CPR, PEC, HAZWOPER) a plus
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926/1910 standards and hazard mitigation
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills
  • Must be comfortable working outdoors in variable weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel between job sites as needed
