- Preheating parts to specified temperatures when required
- Positioning, clamping, and tacking assemblies in jigs or fixtures
- Inspecting welds for bead size, fusion, and overall quality
- Cleaning slag, spatter, and excess weld material
- Repairing parts as needed and properly tying in weld starts and stops
- Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and ethics
- Pitching in on other duties as needed to keep production moving
You don't need to know everything, but you should bring solid fundamentals and a willingness to learn:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of welding experience or formal welder training
- Ability to pass a 1G (Flat) 1" groove GMAW (MIG) qualification plate test pre-employment
- Working knowledge of GMAW (MIG) welding techniques

- You'll weld real products, not just practice pieces
- Clear welding specs and engineering support, no guesswork
- A safety-first culture where quality matters
- A team that respects craftsmanship and takes pride in what we build
- Stable, manufacturing-proud environment with room to grow your skills
- Manufacturing setting with exposure to moving machinery, welding fumes, heat, vibration, and occasional electrical risk
- Noise levels are typically loud
- Proper PPE and safety controls are in place
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing and use of hands and arms
- Occasional walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
