About the Role:

The company is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead day-to-day accounting operations and support continued growth. This role is ideal for a Controller who enjoys being in the weeds, owning the close process, and partnering closely with ownership in a fast-moving, operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, and collections
• Lead month-end close, with responsibility for closing by the 3rd business day
• Review and approve all journal entries
• Prepare and review financial statements and internal management reports
• Manage payroll processing using Paylocity
• Serve as NetSuite Administrator and primary owner of the accounting system
• Ensure strong internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness
• Support review and audit processes as needed
• Partner with ownership on financial insights and operational support
• Provide limited HR support (~10% of role)
• Leverage Excel heavily for reporting, analysis, and reconciliation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior experience as a Controller or Senior Accounting Manager
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP
• NetSuite experience strongly preferred
• Payroll experience (Paylocity a plus)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Comfortable working in an EOS-managed organization
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working hands-on
• Industry experience not required
