Forklift Operator / Warehouse Technician
At 2020 Exhibits, we create custom made exhibits and booth rentals for trade shows and events. We specialize in designing, fabricating, installing and dismantling large- scale custom and rental exhibits, branded corporate interiors, and engaging environments worldwide.
2020 Exhibits is looking for a full-time Forklift Driver/Warehouse Technician.
M-F / 8am-5pm/OT & Weekends as needed
Competitive pay based on experience
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: REQUIREMENTS:
- Safely operate a forklift to load and unload stacks, skids or pallets in designated high reach/high pile areas.
- Perform general warehouse duties including but not limited to; move freight, load, unload, picking and packing freight from racks to their designated areas or departments.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving protocols.
- Supervising the loading and unloading of shipments as necessary.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with all departments.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Must be able to work independently without supervision.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Must hold a valid forklift operator license from a recognized training provider.
- Clean up and dispose of trash as needed in the storage isles.
- Promote and maintain a clean, organized, safe and positive work environment.
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
- Conduct operations that promote safety.
- Crosstrain in the receiving department to successfully cover breaks and vacation time of the receiving tech.
- Completing special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Reliable transportation.
- Forklift experience in a warehouse setting
- Must be computer literate.
- Able to work in fast-paced environment.
- Be able push/pull/lift 30-50 lbs. frequently.
- Attention to detail.
- Forklift certification.
- Available to work OT and weekends if required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Possess math and problem solving skills.
- Follow both oral and written directions and instructions.
- Able to work software; Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Understand and abide by all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injuries.
