About
Summary: Responsible for general Logistics support of the department.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Inventory Management- Performing Inventory reconciliation, inventory adjustments, performing inventory audits- Monitoring Inventory, recommending actions for inventory management, Assist in conducting physical inventories.
Responsible to overseeing returns (final mile and at the HUBs). Reverse Logistics-Coordinate liquidation of damaged/returned/as-is merchandise in the different distribution centers, enter information in ERP.
Responsible to scheduling intercompany transfers (HUB to stores and transfers back to HUB).
Support the Logistics department in various tasks such as acting as a back up support for LTL shipments and Dispatching of Local deliveries.
Communicate with warehouses, logistics companies about various topics to achieve profitable resolutions, ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.
Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
Performing Administrative Activities — Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as approving logistics invoices, maintaining information files, reporting and processing costs in SAP.
Other tasks needed based on needs of the Department and project requested by Logistics Manager.
Skills:
Experience in SAP Business One preferred. Microsoft Excel Proficiency
Extensive Inventory management experience is a must
Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
Highly resourceful and organized with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail.
Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines. High sense of urgency.
Passion for Logistics and Supply chain management
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Emotional Intelligence required.
Proven ability to communicate professionally and tactfully in all interactions with team members needed.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Experience in a high growth, fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to drive processes and to deliver high-quality Logistics services in an ever-changing environment.
Ability to influence, consult, and negotiate.
Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management or Equivalent. Prior Logistics experience (6 years) required.
