Summary

Join Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of North & West Houston as a General Labor Technician. You'll work outdoors, complete hands-on physical tasks, assist with installations, perform routine service work, and interact directly with homeowners.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in craftsmanship, communicates well, and wants a career where hard work directly impacts earnings.

What You'll DoInstallation & Service

• Install and set up outdoor components and materials
• Complete repairs and adjustments as needed
• Perform routine service and maintenance tasks
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards

Customer Interaction

• Speak directly with homeowners
• Explain what work was completed and answer questions
• Offer upgrades, enhancements, or add-on services (earn commissions)
• Ask customers for a Google review

Operational Tasks

• Update job notes in ServiceMinder (we train you)
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and materials
• Leave every property clean, safe, and better than you found it

Who You Are — Must-Haves

• Great communicator
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
• Able to lift 40+ lbs and work with ladders and tools
• Detail-oriented with pride in your work
• Comfortable speaking with homeowners
• Open to sales-style conversations (no pressure tactics)

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in landscaping, irrigation, construction, general labor, or home services
• Basic troubleshooting or mechanical skills
• Interest in growing into a Lead Tech or Specialist role

• Monday–Thursday, 6:45 AM–5 PM (3-day weekends)
• $17–$22/hr depending on experience
• Weekly bonuses based on KPI performance
• Commissions for selling add-on services
• Typical earnings: $45K–$70K+ (top performers earn more)
