Job Description

A Staff Pharmacist represents the BrickStreet Pharmacy corporation in its entirety. This individual works to support company objectives, implement strategic direction, and communicate the vision of BrickStreet Pharmacy. In this position this individual represents the company in a professional and cost-effective manner that provides quality care to the customer and secures the reputation of BrickStreet Pharmacy. In addition to working with the management team, it may also be necessary to come alongside them and reach out to providers within our community and to care for customers on a more personal level.

RPh Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of pharmacy technicians for day-to-day operations with the goal of effectively serving our customer base while also protecting the business and reputation of BrickStreet Pharmacy.
  • Partner with ownership and fellow pharmacists to implement processes and procedures that ensure efficient and quality patient care, meeting company goals and metrics while also taking part in the planning of future growth.
  • Ensure prescription workflow safety, adherence measures, completion of prescriptions requested, profitability awareness and maintain inventory metrics.
  • Ensure that all company operations comply with federal, state, local and or company policies and regulations.
  • Assign duties and monitor quality of workflow.
  • Assist in the oversight & accuracy of medication inventory.
  • Ensure the best quality patient care by counseling patients on relevant medication & answering any questions that may present themselves.

Restrictions & Requirements

  • Pharmacist License
  • Maintain requirements for administering all vaccines
  • Sterile Certification for Compounding recommended
  • Completion and compliance of HIPAA/FWA certification
  • Demonstrate proficiency in supervising, holding accountable and motivating staff
  • Exhibit commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams
  • Good judgement with ability to make timely and sound decisions
  • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130, $139,000.00 per year
