Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate
Supervising Pharmacist

to lead pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with New York State regulations. This role is ideal for someone who values a calm, friendly work environment and enjoys delivering excellent patient care without the pressure of a high-volume setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the pharmacy's Supervising Pharmacist per NYS regulations
• Oversee daily prescription processing, dispensing, and patient counseling
• Maintain compliance with NYS Board of Pharmacy and DEA requirements
• Supervise and support pharmacy staff
• Maintain accurate records, inventory, and controlled substance handling
• Provide friendly, attentive service to our community patients
• Assist with surgical/medical supply inquiries (experience is helpful but not required)
• Promote a positive work environment with professionalism and integrity

Qualifications

• New York State Licensed Pharmacist

(required)
- Eligible to serve as a Supervising Pharmacist in NY
- Community pharmacy experience preferred, but new grads encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a quiet, low-volume environment
- Knowledge of medical/surgical supplies is a plus, not required
- Immunization certification not required (we do not provide immunizations)
