Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and presentation standards are upheld
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff with basic food preparation when needed
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and perform basic math for check settlements

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred, especially within fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable enhances efficiency in order processing and sales management
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in upselling techniques to increase sales while maintaining genuine guest interactions
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve multiple tables efficiently
• Basic math skills for cash handling, bill splitting, and transaction accuracy
