Job Summary
The
Weekend Dietary Aide
assists with the preparation, service, and clean-up of meals for residents on weekends. Maintains a clean, attractive, and sanitary dining environment.

‍ Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food ordering, storage, and preparation as directed
• Support cooks and dietary staff in meal prep
• Prepare and label nourishments, desserts, salads, and other non-entrée foods
• Portion foods and pour beverages according to center procedures
• Follow production sheets and pre-prep guidelines
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits; slice and measure meats for menu compliance
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas; sweep and mop floors, wash pots and pans, take out trash
• Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of experience in a large-scale cooking operation preferred
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently
