Maintenance Technician – Electrical Focus

Pay Range:
$30–$34/hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
- Friday & Saturday: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Sunday & Monday: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
- (4-day workweek with rotating day/night shifts)
About the Role
We're looking for a skilled
Maintenance Technician
with a strong electrical background to help keep our automotive manufacturing operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on position focused on electrical troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and safe maintenance practices. If you enjoy solving problems, working independently, and don't mind an unconventional schedule, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, including control panels, motors, sensors, relays, VFDs, and related components
- Perform preventive, planned, and emergency maintenance on production equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and wiring prints
- Diagnose electrical flow issues to minimize downtime and support production
- Follow all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety standards
- Assist with equipment setup, adjustments, and new equipment installations
- Document work performed and complete maintenance work orders
- Communicate equipment issues and solutions with production, engineering, and maintenance teams
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and control panels
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
- Solid knowledge of electrical safety practices, including LOTO
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently during off-shifts
- PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus (programming not required)
Education
- Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
