Responsibilities
- Team Leadership
: Guide and mentor the Technician and Assistant team across your clinic to ensure seamless operations. - Procedure & Standards Development
: Collaborate on Medical Procedures and Standards of Care across all Sploot locations. - Recruitment & Training
: Assist in building a team of "rockstars," plus oversee training to maintain exceptional patient care. - Lead by Example
: Work as the Lead Technician on the clinic floor, setting the bar for best practices and patient-centered care. - Culture Champion
: Promote the Sploot culture by encouraging flexibility, work-life balance, and team support to keep everyone happy and thriving.
Qualifications
- Certification
: Current CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT (must have passed the VTNE). - Experience
: At least 3+ years as a veterinary technician in general medicine and/or surgery. - Leadership Skills
: Proven experience leading teams, delegating tasks, and driving accountability. - Collaborative Mindset
: Thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at teamwork and communication. - High Standards
: A "bar raiser" who actively seeks to elevate the team's capabilities and patient outcomes.
What Catches Our Eye
- Emergency/Urgent Care Experience
: Background in ER or urgent care settings. - Management Certification
: Certified Veterinary Clinic Manager licensure (or similar) is a bonus.
Compensation & Benefits
